Mr. İsmail Doğan has B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University. He started working as a Process Engineer at Procter & Gamble. He worked as a business analyst in Turkish Airlines Enterprise Resource Planning project between 2010 and 2012, and then as a consultant and manager in the Risk, Process and Technology Services at PwC. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as a Senior Manager and Director in Advisory Services at Ernst & Young for Digital Transformation and Business Process Reengineering.

He started working as the Institute Director at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE (Institute for Management Sciences) in 2018. In July 2023, he was appointed as EUREKA President for the 2023 – 2024 period.

İsmail Doğan is TÜBİTAK Vice President since July 2023. He has been member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) since February 2024 and member of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) since August 2023.

Mr. Dogan has been serving as Acting President since 19 August 2024.
